Equine assisted therapy is the practice of using horses in order to effect emotional growth. Horse therapy has been shown to be an effective way for youth to reach new levels of interaction. Equine therapists use basic lessons in which horses learn, react, and follow instructions which can be related to the youth themselves.

At HELP, Equine therapy is performed by a certified Equine-Assisted therapist. Equine-based therapy has been shown to be very effective with patients who exihibit depression, attention-deficit, conduct disorders, dissociative disorders, anxiety, dementia, autism, and many other related disorders.
