Jeff Kleinberg, Ph.D., Licensed Psychotherapist (MFT97003), has 15+ years’ experience helping adults challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, loss/grief, addiction/co-occurring disorders and known or unexpected life transitions. He helps people connect with earlier life experience that may impact the present (work/relationship challenges, addictions, decision making, consequences, etc.) to change unhelpful life patterns in a relatable and nonjudgmental way.
Jeff helps clarify and identify patients’ goals, and goal-reaching obstacles, and works collaboratively to healthfully maneuver their lives, relationships and future. He offers genuine compassion, and supportive “safe harbor” to help people explore, problem solve inner pain and move into a more hopeful, fulfilling life. He provides a variety of ways to meet his patients’ individual needs.
He’s provided therapy to adults in Community Based, Residential and Private Practice treatment settings, and specifically worked two years with US Veterans at Veterans Village San Diego. Dr. Jeff holds MA’s in both Counseling Psychology and Organization Development and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Organizational Systems.
