Received her doctorate from UCLA, and has been a clinical psychologist since 1984. Worked in Pediatric Neurology at UCLA with children with attention deficit hyperactive disorder and learning problems and their parents and teachers. Clinical practice includes treatment of depression, anxiety, stress, marital and family interactions, life passage challenges, life threatening illness for patients and caregivers, and end of life issues. Approaches include problem solving, behavioral and cognitive strategies, meditation, guided imagery and hypnosis, dream work, and voice dialogue. Worked at Naval Medical Center for three years with breast cancer patients and their families. Fellow of the San Diego Psychological Association and recipient of the Silver Psi Award from the California Psychological Association.
