Matthew Brown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing individual, couples, and group therapy in north county San Diego. Matthew Brown has training in the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, substance abuse/dependence, domestic violence for both survivors and perpetrators. Matthew utilizes a Client Centered approach and meets each client with compassion, empathy and understands that each client has self determination to choose their own path.
Matthew is compassionate about helping people achieve their personal goals of reducing symptoms related to mental health diagnosis, family disfunction, trauma, workplace distress, and substance abuse relates issues. Matthew has experience working with veterans, survivors of trauma, people with severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and substance abuse/dependence.
